SEO is easy – and anyone can do it. Here’s how.

Most businesses never get round to SEO for one of three reasons. They don’t know what to do, they’re worried about the risks, or they don’t know how to gauge their efforts.

Worst still, most businesses can probably identify with two or even three of these reasons at once – the perfect storm of SEO paralysis! (Your competition, by the way, love this.)

The good news is that SEO is actually a lot easier than most people realise. Better still, you’re about to learn everything you need to smash your SEO reservations into a thousand bleeding pieces.

Instant SEO diagnosis (no tools required) [3 minutes viewing time]. A step by step video to show you precisely how your website has been performing from an SEO perspective, both in terms of quality and quantity. This makes a great starting point, and all you need is access to your analytics account. Few tactics will give you such an instant indicator.

SEO triage in 3 minutes [3 minutes viewing time]. Another 180 second video that will show you how to get free SEO advice from Google, how to make use of their incredible free tool, how to find (and fix) what’s broken and more. After trying this you’ll either be flustered and frantic or seriously serene. Either way you’ll be informed. Guaranteed to be insanely useful.

The easiest SEO tactic (it’s right under your nose) [3 minutes reading time]. This is a great little tactic to find the right keywords that are most likely to produce solid results – in the shortest amount of time. This has been one of my most popular tips in the last few years. Give it a go and you’ll see why.

Everything you need to know about mobile SEO [5 minutes reading time – sorry]. Obviously it’s not literally everything. But it is usefully short and sensible, and will let you know how you’re doing right now, how much of a problem it may (or may not) be, and what to do about it. Again: being informed is better than sticking your head in the sand.

The best paid (but cheap) SEO tool of all [5 minutes viewing time]. If the above 14 minutes of learning have whet your appetite for more, then here’s a quick review of the single tool that I think will give you more actionable information than anything you’ve ever used before. If you have one paid tool for SEO, this is probably the one you want.

And that’s it. The whole lot will take you less than twenty minutes to watch and read – and I really do believe that most businesses will know more about SEO than most of their competition as a result of this twenty minute time investment.

There’s no excuse whatsoever to leave SEO on your to-do list any longer. Start developing those skills today.
